Up-Helly-Aa! Celebrities are not the only ones wearing Minnetonka Fringed Boots. We sent 42 pair last year to these fine lads in Shetland, Scotland for the Up-Helly-Aa fire festival. A procession of squads (like our boys above) roll through town as a way to celebrate the end of the holiday yule season. The procession culminates in the outrageous burning of a yoal, or traditional Viking boat. The squads then visit private parties and perform acts of some sort, typically a send-up of a popular TV show or film, a skit on local events, or singing and dancing.

Buckle Bags Yep, we sold a lot of buckle purses last Christmas. Gorgeous, hand-tooled, Sheridan style leather from the craftspeople at Montana Silversmiths. With a buckle around your waist and another on your bag, you're wearing two buckles at once. Why not? You earned them!
